The Dell is set in the small village of White Colne, surrounded by other small villages boasting lots of pubs, boutique shops, supermarkets and cafes.
As we are in the beautiful countryside make sure you pack your wellies so you can explore by foot and take in the fresh country air.
COLCHESTER
‘Britain’s oldest recorded town’ thanks to its history as a Roman settlement dating back as far as AD77. Colchester town is an interesting mix of old and new with a wide selection of eating establishments and great shopping too. Just a short car journey away and plenty to entertain for the day, if it’s sunny head a little further past Colchester to Mersea island and explore the beautiful small seaside town.
SUDBURY, LONG MELFORD & LAVENHAM
If you enjoy history you’ll love these villages boasting backgrounds of Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval settlements. Lovely villages to go for a stroll and admire the buildings and little streets, and of course taking a browse in the boutique shops.
